With the introduction of zDirect, Zalando’s new portal, there’s never been a better time to sell on the site. In order to maintain their exceptional customer experience, Zalando have a more stringent application process than many other marketplaces and in order to apply to sell on the platform you must meet the following criteria:
- Offer products in the following categories: clothing, shoes, sportswear and equipment, accessories (products from other categories will not be accepted).
- Free returns
- 100 day returns policy
- Shipping with Hermes
ZALANDO FULFILLMENT SOLUTIONS (ZFS)
Zalando Fulfillment Solutions offers same and next day delivery and allows sellers to take advantage of Zalando’s logistics network to sell in all Zalando countries (apart from Norway) by shipping to a local fulfilment centre.
The programme mitigates the need to consider international shipping by passing the process onto Zalando. It also offers customers a better purchase experience as both Zalando and third party goods can be shipped in one package.
